World Wide Web Technology II

  • Here are some of the interactive elements that I have incorporated into my website:
    • meta tags for author, keyword and description to all pages
    • included a splash index page with a timed refresh
    • created a template for the web site
      • placed "last modified" javascript at the bottom of each page
      • used flash buttons on the sidebar
    • used an image map on my portfolio page
    • embedded my video clip
    • included rollover images

  • Other interactive elements that I considered, but did not use:
    • A goto popup menu:
    • a calculator to average three numbers:
      • Simple Average
      Enter the first number
      Enter the second number
      Enter the third number
      This calculator is a simple example of JavaScript
      The calculator uses simple math.
